Laurel and Hardy were a comedy duo act during the early Classical Hollywood era of American cinema and composed of English comic actor Stan Laurel (16 June 1890 – 23 February 1965) and American comic actor Oliver Hardy (January 18, 1892 – August 7, 1957). The two became well known for their slapstick comedy and in 1928 they starred in the short comedy film ‘From Soup to Nuts’.
